Datameer
Datameer creates a data analytics platform targeted at enterprises that allows them to transform varied raw data into usable datasets more easily.
Project Summary:
- Redesign the data-analytics platform to allow for cooperation and facilitated distributed teams
- Encourage "side-talk" and out-of-meeting discussions to make it into documentation
- Explore new areas for data-analytics platforms in light of market trends (e.g. storage limitations, emerging limitations of common technologies like hadoop)
Responsibilities:
- Entered project after discovery and jumped right into prototyping
- Developed wireframes with 4 other designers
- Worked with developers and data-scientists to learn about big data analysis
- Integrated feedback from big clients into the designs
- Worked from Berlin on a remote team spread around Germany and the US
